Terms of Use

Last updated: 1 November 2026

THE SHORT VERSION
  • The games are free. Play as much as you like.
  • They come as they are. If one breaks or a high score disappears, that's a bummer, not a lawsuit.
  • Don't attack the site or pass off other people's games as yours.

1. What this is

The Oven ("the site") is a free, non-commercial collection of small browser games hosted at sakhadib.github.io/games. It is run by Sakhawat Adib ("we", "us"). By playing the games or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. Free to play

Every game here is free. There are no accounts, no purchases, no subscriptions and no ads. We don't sell anything and we never will ask you for payment details.

3. No warranty

The site and the games are provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise that the games will work on every device or browser, be free of bugs, stay online, or keep your progress. Games may change, be fixed, be rebalanced or be removed at any time without notice.

High scores, levels and settings live only in your own browser's storage. Clearing your browser data, switching devices or using private browsing will lose them, and we can't recover them.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage that comes from using, or not being able to use, the site or the games. Your use of the site is at your own risk.

5. Health and safety

Photosensitivity warning. Some games use flashing effects, quick changes between light and dark, or flickering light. A small number of people may experience seizures when exposed to such patterns. If you or anyone in your family has a history of epilepsy or seizures, talk to a doctor before playing. Stop playing right away if you feel dizzy, have blurred vision, eye or muscle twitches, or any discomfort.

Take breaks. These are meant to be stress relief, not stress.

6. Fair use of the site

Please don't:

7. Games made by contributors

Some games may be contributed by other people through GitHub pull requests, following the contribution rules. Contributors confirm they have the right to share what they submit. Contributed games are reviewed before they go live, but we can't guarantee every line of every game. If you believe something on the site infringes your rights or breaks these rules, open an issue and we'll look at it promptly and remove it if needed.

8. Inspiration and trademarks

Some games are inspired by games many of us played as kids. They are original re-creations: the code, art and levels are made from scratch for this site, and they are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any phone maker or game publisher. Any product names mentioned on the site belong to their owners and are used only to describe that inspiration.

9. Source code

The source code is public at github.com/sakhadib/games. Seeing the source doesn't automatically give you a license to reuse it; check the repository for any license file, or ask.

10. Links to other sites

The site links to a few other places (GitHub, a portfolio, analytics provider pages). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for them.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

12. Contact
